California Beach Rock 'N Sushi

I've always enjoyed going to California Beach Rock 'N Sushi in Ward, so I'm happy they are now in Aiea at Pearlridge.

Our group of 20 went to the restaurant at the last minute on a busy holiday shopping night, and they were eager to accommodate us with just a 30-minute wait.

Miso Butterfish / Tempura Combo

I ordered the Garlic Chicken appetizer for my dinner, and even though it was the last of all of our group's meals to come out more than 30 minutes after ordering, our server was very apologetic, and really did a great job of accommodating our large group.

And thankfully, I had a yummy Shochu Lychee Martini to sip on and pass the time.

The Waikiki Platter consists of 7 pieces of assorted nigiri, sushi, and 1 California roll.  Combos come with rice, miso soup, and salad.

Despite the wait for my chicken, I thought the food was good and service was overall great.

I'm eager to return to try out more menu items.
