Izakaya Kei

Rainbow Roll

Izakaya Kei is a family friendly Japanese izakaya and sushi bar restaurant located in the Pearl Kai shopping center.  They offer a late night happy hour as well as an all day happy hour on Wednesdays.

The dinner menu is quite extensive so it took us some time to decide on our order, but everything we tried was very tasty.

Oyster shot with uni and ikura

The service was friendly and the atmosphere casual.  Great place for good food and drink!

  1. Izakaya Kei was our favorite sushi restaurant in Hawaii. My wife and I enjoy quality sushi and this place certainly stood up to the challenge. The chef is incredibly fun and creative. Our favorite thing about Izakaya Kei was that the chef would make us unique and creative rolls every time we came in. He would remember us every single time and took the time to get to know us. Sadly, we moved back to the mainland recently, but Izakaya Kei has set the bar high for our expectations.
