Clair de Lune $25 Gift Card Giveaway

Clair de Lune at Ka Makana Ali`i is one of my new favorite shops.

I have spent many days at Clair de Lune over the holidays searching for gifts - they have the cutest home decor, drinkware, and all sorts of other goodies in the most fun designs!

According to design experts, this year designs will be bolder with more vivid tones and textures. Here are some of the trends for 2018 and some easy ways to give your home design a fresh start in the New Year!

· Black and white is always in. If you’re looking for a style that is chic but always in style, adding something new in black and white instantly brings a touch of class to any room. Something as simple as a new throw pillow or throw on the couch can make things pop. Black and white décor in the kitchen are also a great way to tie large appliances or furniture. (Bovi Black Decorative Pillow, $49.99, White Feather Blanket, $24.99, Black and White Stitched Placemats, $21.99.)

· Must have metallic. We love shiny things and so will your home. Adding metallic accents to your dining area, kitchen, or common living space will bring a hint of sophistication without going over the top. And decorative pieces like candle holders and silver or gold oversized pieces look luxurious without breaking the bank. (Clair de Lune Ambiance Silver Owl Vase, $29.99; Gold Lantern Candle Holder, $79.99, Oversized Silver Pineapple Plate, $79.99.)

· Fill the room with floral. Year-round warm weather is ideal for playful, floral trends. Watercolor accents and floral prints are blossoming in 2018 and can add just the right hint of color that you’re looking for. Breathe some life into a room with vibrant floral arrangements or candles, or if you have a black thumb, opt for flower-inspired dishes to bring some life to your dining table. (Watercolor Floral Dinner Plate, $22.99/ 7.5” Salad Bowl, $18.99 / 6” Salad Bowl $15.99; Clair de Lune Ambiance Tropical 3-wick Candle Votive, $29.99; Clair de Lune Signature Garden Jar Candles, $2.99.)

· Mix it up with colors and patterns. The new year is all about taking chances and trying new things. Use different patterns and colors to offset traditional looks and create a modern, whimsical setting. In the kitchen in particular, you can mix it up with your place settings, with textured placemats and graphic plates and bowls. (Navy Patterned Dinnerware Set, $79.99, Tan and White Patterned Dinnerware Set, $59.99, Coral Textured Placemats, $21.99.)

All of these products — and more! — are available at Clair de Lune at Ka Makana Ali’i. Clair de Lune is a Canadian based home décor and furniture store that showcases the latest trends for homes.
