Restaurant Week: MW Restaurant

I look forward to Restaurant Week every year. It's when participating restaurants on Oahu feature special menu items, promotions, or discounts, with a portion of proceeds going to support the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head, which is a program of the University of Hawaii.

One of the participating restaurants this year was MW Restaurant, which featured a prix fixe menu for $25 during lunch service. Here's what was offered:

Complimentary focaccia bread...

the Appetizer Trio: chilled curry cauliflower soup, butternut squash with bacon jam, and crab and orzo pasta salad...

Choice of Entree: mochi crusted monchong, mountain view farms "pork and beans", mentako pasta, or hokkaido "soup curry"...
