Weekend Brunch at The Cheesecake Factory at Ka Makana Ali`i

The Cheesecake Factory at Ka Makana Ali`i has been drawing large numbers of customers ever since its opening on September 19 (as expected!), and even though I already had a chance to dine there during a training session, I was excited to go back with the rest of the family.

We actually returned the weekend of the grand opening.  Why?  Because Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm, and I just love brunch!

We arrived about 10 minutes before opening and the line was about 30 people deep.  Once the doors opened, it took a good 15 minutes before we were actually seated (they were letting just a few parties in at a time).

Complimentary Bread

There are so many amazing options on the brunch menu, but I decided to get the Fried Chicken & Waffles Benedict.

A Belgian waffle was topped with crispy fried chicken strips, poached eggs, and a slightly spicy Hollandaise.  So good!

My husband ordered from the SkinnyLicious Menu.
SkinnyLicious Grilled Turkey Burger
A kids menu is available for keiki 10 and under.
Kids' Macaroni & Cheese

Kids' Cheese Pizza

Kids' Grilled Salmon

Kids meals include a drink.

For dessert, we decided to get the Celebration Cheesecake.
Consisting of vanilla cake, cheesecake, and strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla mouse, the Celebration Cheesecake did not disappoint!  I usually go for one of the chocolate flavors, but this cheesecake was really yummy!  I haven't had a flavor I didn't like at The Cheesecake Factory yet!

Our server was very friendly, and although there is much room improvement in terms of overall service (length of time to get waters refilled, food, etc.), for a restaurant that was opened just a few days earlier, we walked away satisfied.

I'm sure service will be much better when we return!
