Happy Hour at The Splintered Paddle at Cinnamon's at The Ilikai

It's no secret that Cinnamon's at the Ilikai offers some amazing breakfasts, but I was surprised to learn that they also serve some great pupus and drinks at their barThe Splintered Paddle.

Fresh Island Ahi Poke

Artichoke Spinach-Crab Dip

Will's Fish Tacos

Fresh Guacamole and Chips

Mexican Pizza

Kal Bi Chicken Quesadilla

Rib-Eye Poke
Carsie's Crab Cakes
Pork Bao Trio
Fresh Szechuan Veggies
Mini Poke Nachos
I enjoyed a lot of the pupus, but my favorites were the Fresh Szechuan Veggies (I loved the garlic sauce!) and the Kal Bi Chicken Quesadilla (the chicken was full of flavor, and I loved the addition of Korean veggies - a nice twist on a typical quesadilla).

I also really liked the guac & chips - both made fresh in-house!

The Rib-Eye Poke is served up sizzling on a platter with sauteed mushrooms, garlic, fried onions, and poke sauce.

The Pork Bao Trio consists of in-house roasted Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Chinese Char-Siu Pork, and Salt & Pepper Seasoned Crispy Pork Belly.

The Crab Cakes are served three ways - with a Basil Pesto sauce, a Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto sauce, and a Spicy Dill Remoulade.

And let's not forget the cocktails!  A few of the cocktails that guests indulged in included:

"Shiso Lovely" (& Lonely)

Blue Hawaiian

Mojito

Lava Flow

Next time, I'll have to try the Ilikai Sunrise, or one of Carsie's Famous Bloody Marys (the Bacon & Jalapeno is very popular).

Enjoy pupus daily from 2pm to closing.  Happy Hour is 3pm to 6pm daily, and you can enjoy $1.00 off all cocktails and pupus during Happy Hour!
