The Traveling Plate - A Statewide Culinary Tour to Benefit Easter Seals Hawai‘i and Local Farms

This August, Easter Seals Hawaii has partnered with the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Agriculture, Kona Brewing Company and Under My Umbrella to produce the 2nd Annual Traveling Plate Hawaiʻi, a unique ʻtravelingʻ culinary event series stretching across ka pae ʻāina o Hawaiʻi.

Celebrity chef-studded launch events on Kauaʻi, Hawai’i, Maui and Oʻahu, will cultivate new relationships between the talented creative local chefs and farms of Hawaiʻi; while increasing awareness and funds for Easter Seals Hawai’i programs. In addition to these launch events, the Traveling Plate HI joins ranks with over 50 restaurants to continue promotion of locally sourced food. Restaurant Ambassadors statewide will offer a menu item throughout the month of August highlighting a locally sourced ingredient and donating a portion of proceeds from each dish each dish back to Easter Seals Hawaii.

The community is invited to join in the celebration of the legacy of important work by Easter Seals Hawaii (ESH) and our local culinary food producers throughout the islands by JOINING US for the 2nd Annual Traveling Plate HI 2017 at a launch event, or with a Restaurant Ambassador near you!
