Glow Putt Mini Golf

On a recent school holiday a couple of friends and I decided to take our kids to Glow Putt Mini Golf at Windward Mall.

It was the first time any of us had been to Glow Putt Mini Golf.

The 18-hole course is brightly lit with safari-themed images

The cost is $7 per person for ages 6+ (military & law enforcement discounts available).

After paying the fees, players get to choose a glow-in-the-dark bracelet color (which designates them as a paid visitor).

Then they chose from a variety of different putter lengths.

After reading the rules, the kids began to play.

Each hole has different features that make it difficult, such as obstacles, ramps, spirals, tricky corners, and more.

Throughout the course are several chargers where players drop their golf balls in, and once they roll through, the balls shine brightly once again!

Holes are clearly numbered, and arrows point the way to the next hole.

Just before the 18th hole, the employee said that the kids could go back to the other holes before hitting the ball in the last hole, since once it goes in the 18th hole, their playtime is up.

I thought that was nice of her, so of course the kids went back to other holes (it was pretty empty - only two other groups of less than 4 playing - I'm sure if it was very crowded the kids would not have been allowed to go back and play other holes).

You do have the option of keeping score, but with so many kids, most just doing their own thing (moving the ball closer to the hole before hitting it again, hitting multiple times a turn) it would've been difficult for us to keep score.  And besides, it was a lot more fun for everyone to just play without scoring.

After the 18th hole, everyone received a mini finger light.

The kids sure had a lot of fun!

The UV lighting sure made the place cool, and I liked that Glow Putt Mini Golf was indoors, in an air-conditioned space.

The employee who was working was very friendly and great to the kids.

The kids have already asked to go back!
