CC Cookies & Cream

After dinner with Nat over the weekend, she suggested we go to CC Cookies and Cream.

CC Cookies and Cream offers a variety of treats, such as ice cream, house made cookies, ice cream tacos, milk shakes, and sundaes, but Nat and I both opted for the Ice Cream Sandwiches.

You can choose from a menu of faves, like I did, or make your own with one or two choices of cookies, one or two flavors of ice cream, and one topping, like Nat did.

The combinations are endless!

I opted for the Cookie Monster - Chocolate Chip & PB Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cookie Dough and Cookies & Cream Ice Cream, and OREO Cookie Crumbs.

Cookie Monster
I thought the ice cream sandwich was good overall, but I think I would've enjoyed the cookies by themselves much better, and I probably would've liked the ice cream on its own much better as well. I thought together, it was too much sweetness for my liking, and also a bit too difficult to eat.

Create your own ice cream sandwich
Nat chose Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip and Spiced Snickerdoodle for her cookies, Strawberry Cheesecake for her ice cream, and colorful sprinkles for her topping.

She really enjoyed the ice cream sandwich (more than I did mine).

I'd probably return with the kids if we're in the area, but next time I'll stick to ice cream in a cone - my preferred (and less messy) way of eating ice cream!
