Wahine Strong

By now you must have heard about the 2017 Women's March that was held worldwide (including in Hawaii!) on January 21, 2017.  The effects of this worldwide march for women's rights on the first day of Donald Trump's presidency remains to be seen, but one of the great things that has come out of this march so far is a new business in Hawaii called "Wahine Strong".

The goal of Wahine Strong is to empower and inspire women by showcasing the ways women rise up to challenges and succeed.

Whether it's the challenge of juggling work and family, to attaining a PR on a half marathon....

the concept of Wahine Strong will inspire you to keep going, to never give up, and to strive to succeed at whatever you do, even when you feel like you can't anymore.

Wahine Strong is also about sisterhood and the connection that only women can understand. I know for myself, when I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders, a text from a girlfriend or a girl's night out recharges my soul and I am ready again to face whatever life throws my way.

To learn more about Wahine Strong or to purchase Wahine Strong t-shirts, tanks, trucker hats, and stickers, visit their website at: https://www.wahinestrong.com/.  Show the world that you are Wahine Strong!

About Wahine Strong:
"Wahine Strong is about empowering women like you by showcasing the ways we rise up to face our challenges and succeed. For some it means teaching and inspiring children each day, or caring for and nurturing your keiki and leading the home front. For others it’s the constant masterful juggle of work, family, and having a life. Or it’s the daily challenge of pumping out those burpees, miles, or holding that awesome downward dog pose. Wahine Strong is the individual path for each of us but also that sense of sisterhood and connection that only women can understand. Our mission stands, Wahine Strong is the essence within our hearts and knowing that nothing can break your spirit. Together we find a sense of strength and connection to be fierce, to inspire change and to love."
