Recently-Opened in Wahiawa - Barrio Cafe

Barrio Cafe opened up in Wahiawa just a few weeks ago.

This little eatery serves up Mexican dishes for breakfast and lunch.
Asada Fries

Breakfast Chimichanga

Torta Cubana
My husband and I dined mid-morning, and since you can order breakfast all day, I decided to order a Breakfast Chimichanga. You can opt for one of three varieties, and I chose Chorizo and Eggs. Although I could taste more eggs than chorizo, it was very good, and I love how crispy the shell was without being oily. It was still nice and crispy when I heated up the leftovers!

The Asada Fries were delicious.  Fries were topped with asada, cheese, pico de gallo, crema, and and avocado sauce.  My husband and I devoured the fries, and we could've only ordered that and have been satisfied.

My husband loved his Torta Cubana.  Ham, mojo marinated pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard completed the huge sandwich.

Service was good, and it took a little longer than expected for the food to get to us, but once the food got to our table, we appreciated all the work that went into delivering a delicious, fresh meal.

Check out Barrio Cafe the next time you're in Wahiawa!
