Hawaii Children's Discovery Center Keiki Swapmeet

The Hawaii Children's Discovery Center hosts a keiki swap meet about once a quarter at  the Kakaako Waterfront park.  Children have a chance to earn extra money by selling old toys, trading cards, clothes, comic books, video games, and any other children's items.  Each child must be registered to participate and the fee is $3 per child.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

My kids had a great time sorting their items out for sale and were happy when customers stopped by.  I think it's a great experience for them and gives them an opportunity to learn the value of a dollar.  Next keiki swap meet is scheduled for June!
