Chef's Ramen

Amazingly, for the second time in a row, Nat and I agreed upon a place for lunch without having to shoot down other ideas!

That place was Chef's Ramen in City Square in Kalihi, where we met our college classmate for lunch.

I opted for the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice.

I was blown away by the portion size!  Needless to say, I didn't finish that huge serving of chicken katsu curry and rice, but it was very delicious.  The katsu was crisp on the outside, and although a few pieces were a little tough to chew, overall it was really good, and the curry was fantastic.  I would've been happy just eating the curry and rice!  I enjoyed the gyoza as well!

Nat and our friend loved the ramens, both commenting how good the broth was.

Service was great, prices were reasonable, and the food came out so fast (in less than 10 minutes!).

Chef's Ramen is a great new eatery in the Kalihi area!
