Boulder Canyon Roasted Jalapeno Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips Review

Disclosure: Complimentary sample was provided for review purposes.

I am no stranger to Boulder Canyon Authentic Foods' potato chips (the Sea Salt is my fave), so when I heard about its new line of Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips, I was very intrigued.

Available in three flavors -Teriyaki Ginger, Roasted Jalapeno, and Himalayan Pink Salt, the chips are cooked in 100-percent pure rice bran oil, which is "regarded for its exceptional balance of heart-friendly polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated fats," according to a press release.

The oil is extracted from the hard outer brown layer of rice after the tuff, and its high smoke point results in a very crispy chip.

I was fortunate to try the Roasted Jalapeno flavor.

I love all things spicy, and if you do too, you'll enjoy the Roasted Jalapeno Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips. The crunchy chips were full of flavor (you could see the specks of spices!), and did bring on the smoky heat.

Only natural ingredients are used in making the chips (and all Boulder Canyon snacks), and the chips contain no trans fats or cholesterol. The products are also gluten-free.

Give Boulder Canyon's Roasted Jalapeno Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips in Roasted Jalapeno a try if you love snacks that are bold in flavor and heat!

I can't wait to try the other flavors!
