Visit Maui: Farmacy Health Bar

I have a friend that travels to the outer islands frequently for work and her Instagram feed is filled with delicious pictures of acai bowls.  I had to know where was her favorite and without any hesitation she said Farmacy Health Bar in Wailuku.  I already had a trip planned to Maui so this was perfect!

As soon as our plane landed, we grabbed our bags and rental car and drove to Wailuku.  We found street parking and headed inside the shop.  It's pretty small inside with only a couple of places to sit.  Besides acai bowls, they also serve sandwiches, salads, and fresh juices.

The acai bowls come in two sizes:  keiki - one pound and kane - two pounds.  I ordered an acai bowl topped with bee pollen, bananas, papaya, and pineapple.  The small size was perfect and I especially liked that the acai was sandwiched between yummy crunchy granola.  My friend got the Wai side poi bowl with acai and poi and loved it.

Great place in Wailuku to get your acai fix.  They also have another location in Makawao.  Both locations are open daily.
