Teishoku Restaurant

Whenever Nat and I try to get together for lunch, it takes a while for us to decide on a place. Mostly because I have to leave at a certain time so I don't want to go too far, and I don't like to go to places with limited parking.

And Nat takes online reviews into consideration.

And I'm kinda picky.

So when she recommended Teishoku, she was completely shocked that I eagerly agreed.

The location was convenient for both of us, parking was plentiful, and the restaurant had good reviews, so it was and ideal choice!

Appetizers

I decided to get Ramen Combo C, which consisted of a mini shoyu ramen (miso or paitan available for extra charge), teriyaki chicken, and mochiko chicken.  Appetizers and a salad were also served with the meal.

It was a lot of food for just $11.95!  I liked the teriyaki chicken the best - the flavors were spot on.  The mochiko chicken was very tasty too.  The batter was seasoned nicely, and was light and crisp.  The salad had a very yummy dressing drizzled on.

Nat ordered a Combination Teishoku with Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura and Misoyaki Butterfish. Her meal came with appetizers, a salad, and miso soup.

The food came out pretty quickly, and service was good.

Teishoku opened several months ago, and has already become a fairly popular restaurant. By the time we were done with lunch there were several parties waiting to be seated.

It was a great choice for lunch!
