Lunch with the Kids at Angelo Pietro

I recently won a $25 gift certificate on Instagram from Angelo Pietro, one of my favorite restaurants in Hawaii.  Are you following them on Instagram?  If not, you can find them @angelopietrohnl.

Since the boys and I were on winter break for a few days, I decided to treat them to lunch with my winnings. I had never dined here with my boys before, so I had never glanced at their kids menu until this visit.

There are only two items on the kids menu at Angelo Pietro:

Kids Cheese Pizza

and Kids Bolognese.

Both are $4.95 each and include a small soft drink (milk, pineapple juice, orange juice or fruit punch).  As you can see from the pictures above, the portions are generous for $4.95 and the quality is just as good as the regular menu items (it's just a smaller serving size).

I ordered my usual go-to menu item: shrimp & mushroom pasta with tomato sauce and fried onions (there is an additional charge for the fried onions).

The boys and I had a great time and I'm looking forward to bringing them here again in the future!

FYI, they have a Late Lunch Special on Mondays-Fridays from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm: one topping pasta or pizza plus soft drink for only $10!
