Visit San Francisco: Residence Inn San Francisco Airport / San Mateo

I have been a fan of Residence Inn by Marriott for years.  The full kitchens, spacious rooms, complimentary hot breakfast, and complimentary evening social hours make a stay at Residence Inn convenient, comfortable, and cost-effective.  While in San Francisco, our family stayed at the Residence Inn San Francisco Airport / San Mateo.

We booked a Penthouse Deluxe 2-Bedroom Bi-Level Loft, which included 3 televisions, a full kitchen, separate living room, 2 bathrooms, and fireplace.

A complimentary breakfast is offered each morning, with a selection of hot entrees, cereals, pastries, and a DIY waffles and yogurt bar.

Eggs, cheese, fruit, yogurt

Toppings for waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, etc.
A complimentary social hour / light dinner is offered Monday through Wednesday.  We were never at the hotel during the social hour, but from past experience at another Residence Inn location, these social hours offer great food and drink.

There was ample free parking (free parking is hard to come by in SF!), free Wi-Fi, fire pits, pool, business center, and a convenience mart.

The hotel is located approximately 15 minutes away from San Francisco International Airport, with easy access to freeways. It's also just a short drive away to numerous restaurants and stores.

Overall service was excellent, and I'd definitely recommend Residence Inn San Francisco Airport / San Mateo for families visiting the area.
