One of My Favorite Pizza Spots Expanded to Kapolei - Pacifico Pizza Napoletana

One of my favorite pizza spots, Kaneohe's Boston Pizza, re-branded earlier this year to Pacifco Pizza Napoletana.  I was so excited to find out they recently opened a location in Kapolei Marketplace!

The new location is very small - no seating indoors, and a few tables outside, so it's ideal for takeout.

They are not yet set up for Chicago-style deep dish as well.  I was pretty bummed about this, since the Pesto-riffic is one of my all-time favorite pizzas.

Fortunately, their other styles of pizzas are great as well.

Garlic Knots

Cheese Pizza

Supremo Pizza

Meatzaa
The Garlic Knots were yummy, as usual.

The Supremo (mozzarella, mushroom, yellow onions, green peppers, black olives and pepperoni).and Cheese slices were Traditional New York-style.   Each slice is huge, and a half slice can easily fill you up.

For the first time we ordered an entire Sicilian-style pizza - the Meatzaa (Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Genoa Salami, Pecorino, Romano, and Parmigiano Reggiano).  Baked in a 16x16 pan, only 10 Sicilian pizzas are made a day.  It's pretty pricey ($40), but it's a very large pizza, and because the crust is thick - more bread-like, each piece is very filling.  I could easily eat two slices off a typical national pizza chain pie, but eating one Sicilian-style slice from Pacifico Pizza Napoletana was more than enough.  Everything about the pizza was just so good - the crust, the sauce, the toppings.  It definitely ranks up there with the Pesto-riffic.

If you are unsure of what type of pizza to order, the staff is more than happy to give you some guidance.
