New West Oahu Farmers’ Market to Open at Ka Makana Ali`i

DeBartolo Development announced today the grand opening celebration of the FarmLovers Market at Ka Makana Ali`i, an exciting family-friendly event scheduled to take place every Wednesday at the mall’s Center Court area.

Sponsored by Pali Momi Medical Center, the FarmLovers Market at Ka Makana Ali`i will feature more than 40 vendors that offer organic produce, tropical plants and flowers, and locally-made treats and prepared foods alongside a weekly lineup of local music, hula performances, entertainment and more.

“As the first farmers’ market of its kind in West Oahu, our FarmLovers Market is an example of the significant role Ka Makana Ali`i plays in serving the people of this community,” said Stephanie England, General Manager of Ka Makana Ali`i. “We envision this lively event to be a magnet for the region, and we are excited that friends and families will be able to gather at the center while sampling local flavors and discovering unique products made right here in Hawaii.”

The inaugural FarmLovers Market will begin on Wednesday, October 26 with a traditional Hawaiian blessing and opening ceremony at 3:00p.m. Hula performances by a local halau and the musical talents of the Keanu Boom Kanani Band will follow.
