Scones, Sandwiches and More at Aloha Bakehouse & Cafe

Chocolate scones were huge!

Located on 1001 Waimanu Street, behind the Pacifica building, is Aloha Bakehouse & Café serving up delicious scones, coffee, sandwiches, and more.

I picked up a blueberry cream cheese scone and a chocolate chip scone as well as an acai bowl.  The acai bowl is a generous serving of the pre-mixed acai sorbet variety so it was nice, cold, and refreshing on that hot day.  They topped it off with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, honey and granola.  It was very yummy.

Acai bowl to go!

I liked the blueberry cream cheese scone over the chocolate chip scone because it was more moist although both scones had a very good texture.  I wish the chocolate chip scone had chocolate chips in the scone instead of just on top, but I liked that both scones were topped with a raw sugar.  You can always use a little bit of extra sweetness.

They have large scones and mini scones available.

Limited seating.

Prices are reasonable and the staff was friendly.  It's street parking only and they are open daily and closed on Sundays.
