Heights Drive Inn

It's hard to resist going to the Heights Drive Inn whenever someone in our family has an appointment in the Aiea Medical Building.  The fried noodles are some of the best I've had on the island.

Since we had an appointment in the building one weekend, we picked up lunch from the Heights.

I typically get the Boneless Chicken and Fried Noodles combo, but after seeing @chuggy_bear's post on Twitter, I opted to try the Katsu + Fried Noodles.  It was good, but I like the boneless chicken much better.

All over social media it's being said that the Heights will be closing soon (at the end of the year?) - even our kids' doctor said he heard the same thing.  If it's true, get your fried noodles fix now (but I hope it's not true, because they really do have some of the best fried noodles on the island!).

    Yum! One of our faves! I think we ate there 3 times last time we visited Hawaii 🙊 I need to come back and get my fix again.

      Sad to say that the restaurant is closing this month.
