Curry Cafe

I've passed by Curry Cafe numerous times at Windward Mall and always wondered how the food was.  I finally found out when I ordered from the Royal Hawaiian Center location.

I ordered the a la carte Chicken Katsu with Japanese Curry (the complete meal comes with a salad and drink for a few dollars more).

Although flavorful, I thought the curry was too thin and watery, but I enjoyed the chicken katsu. Overall it was a decent meal, but I've had much better curry elsewhere.

It was also quite disappointing to see how the tourists were being treated by the cashier. The cashier was simply rude and inconsiderate to all of the tourists that ordered after me. The incidents were too many (in just a short period of time) for me to write about, but had I witnessed them beforehand, I would have ordered elsewhere.

I always give places second chances, so I would definitely try Curry Cafe again - but I'd probably go to the Windward Mall location next time.
