Brunch at Liliha Bakery - Nimitz

It's been almost two years since I last visited Liliha Bakery on Nimitz, and although the neighboring restaurant has changed a few times, business at Liliha Bakery seems consistently steady, as I witnessed during our recent visit.

Teriyaki Chicken Sticks
The entire menu is served all day, and although I love all things breakfast, I decided to get a saimin with a side of teriyaki chicken sticks.

The saimin was huge, and full of SPAM, green onions, egg, kamaboko, corn, and nori.  The broth was not as tasty as some saimins I've had elsewhere, but it sure was filling.  The chicken sticks, on the other hand, were quite flavorful.

My son loved the light and fluffy pancakes.

The Denver Omelet was full of ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, spinach, onions, tomatoes, and cheese.

The restaurant was packed at 9:30am.  We were lucky to score parking right away, and we had a 5 minute wait for a table.

Service and food were once again great!

  1. Seems like things have finally settled down for that location. I went when they had first opened and they seemed to have some growing pains as far as service. I'll have to stop by again!
