Sweet Iced Tea

Sweet iced tea sounds good right about now.   It's perfect for those days you want something cold and refreshing. I'm always drinking an iced coffee so this time I decided to try and make sweet iced tea since I had a box of tea bags and wanted to make use of it. It's a super easy recipe and it's so refreshing!

Ingredients:
6 black tea bags
1/8 tsp baking soda (it takes away the bitterness from the tea)
2 cups boiling water
1 cup sugar (I used Splenda)
6 cups cold water

Place tea bags, baking soda and boiling water together in a pot.  Let it sit for 15 minutes.  Remove tea bags and add sugar.  Mix until dissolved.  Add cold water.  Chill and serve over ice.  Enjoy!
