Countryside Cafe

I'm lucky my husband doesn't usually mind whenever I want to try different restaurants, and a recent request resulted in him driving to Waianae so we could eat brunch at Countryside Cafe.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Teri Chicken Kim Chee Fried Rice

Local Moke-O

I decided to try the Teri Chicken Kim Chee Fried Rice.  A very generous serving of fried rice (which lasted me 3 meals), was full of teri chicken and kim chee.  It was pretty spicy because of the kim chee, and the spiciness really seemed to overpower the flavor of chicken and fried rice, but overall it was good.

My husband thought the Local Moke-O was good (I personally think there should have been more gravy).

There is no kids menu, but each of my kids ordered the Chocolate Chip Pancakes, which were a special of the day, and they loved the pancakes.

Service was great, and the prices were reasonable.

The small restaurant was busy from the moment we arrived until we left - tourists and locals alike were eager to try the food!
