Big City Diner - Pearlridge

Big City Diner has been featured quite a bit on Hawaii Mom Blog.  It's one of my favorite family-friendly restaurants, and the meals usually never disappoint.

Last month we went to the Aiea location for brunch.

Mr. Chipper

I have a few favorite dishes at Big City Diner, but I was craving fries, so I opted for the Big City Club with Garlic Fries.  Turkey, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheeses were piled atop Texas Toast.  Yum!

My kids love the Mr. Chipper - a gigantic pancake with pineapples, whipped cream, and chocolate chips to make a fun face.

It was pretty crowded, and the service was quite slow, but our server was very nice and friendly, and other servers were trying their best to help out with refilling drinks and delivering food.

At the end of our meal, the kiddos were given balloons.

Although the service was not as good as usual, the food did not disappoint!
