Dinner with the Family at Longhi's Ala Moana

After my first visit to Longhi's Ala Moana this past summer for a media event, I was quite impressed with the food, and was eager to take my family there for dinner.

Complimentary Pizza Bread

Chicken Marsala
Fresh Wild Salmon Mediterranean
Keiki Chicken Strips with French Fries
Grilled Cheese Sandwich with French Fries

Keiki Longhi's Macaroni and Cheese
The complimentary Pizza Bread (regular and spicy) was a nice alternative to regular bread. The Spicy Pizza bread was a little too spicy for my kids to handle.

I ordered the Chicken Marsala, which was prepared with organic free-range Jidori Chicken, mushrooms, Marsala wines, butter, and Maui basil. The thin pieces of chicken breast were Parmesan crusted and smothered in the Marsala sauce and mushrooms. The dish was simply delicious!

My husband enjoyed the salmon, prepared Mediterranean style with tomatoes, capers, Kalamata olives, garlic, lemon, and Italian parsley.

Kids meals are a bit on the pricey side, and does not include drinks or dessert, but I was quite impressed with the portion sizes. Each dish could have passed for an adult-size portion!

Our family loved the food, and although my husband was disappointed that Longhi's does not give free refills on soft drinks, service was excellent, and we had a really nice dinner.
