Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu House

Yum!  Adding rib eye, bok choy and udon to my personal hot pot.

Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu House is one of the many up and coming restaurants located in the new 808 Center at 808 Sheridan Street.  What sets Hawaii Pot apart from the rest are their personal hot pot options.  At tables that seat at least 4, there is both a large central hot pot to share and individual burners at each seat for a personal sized hot pot.  Genius!!

When you are ready to order, you first select your soup base and your choice of meat. I chose the hot and spicy broth with the rib eye.  Then you can help yourself to the items coming around on the conveyor belt.  If there's something you don't see, you can order it from your server.  In addition to the variety of plates of one item, they also have some assorted dishes with a combination of items like seafood or veggies.  They have an extensive sauce bar in the back too.

Individual burners at the bar style seating.

Extensive sauce bar.

The add on items come in color coded plates.

Outdoor seating also available.

I really enjoyed myself here.  I thought the quality ingredients were delicious and fresh. I love the concept of a personal hot pot and best of all how it promotes clean and healthy eating.

Located at 808 Sheridan.  Valet parking is available for $2.  Open daily from 11am -9pm.
