It wasn't until a recent weekend that I finally got to try Cafe Laufer.

I ordered the Fungi Lasagna, which was huge! It consisted of Portobello, Cremini, and Button Mushrooms, a Tomato Basil Sauce, and Cheddar and Jack Cheeses. It was delicious! All of the flavors melded perfectly - and if you love mushrooms like I do, this is a must-try. The dish also came with a Side Salad and Focaccia Bread.
Cafe Laufer does not offer kids menus, but fortunately there were items on the Specials Menu my kids wanted to get - the Mac & Cheese and Waffles & Sausage.
The Bacon Mac & Cheese was a huge portion as well, and it also came with a Side Salad and Focaccia Bread. I don't really care for Mac & Cheese, but this Mac & Cheese was super delish since it had Sauteed Bacon and Onions.
The Waffles & Sausage were a hit with the kids!
Service was friendly, but a bit on the slow side. It took a very long time for us to get our food, but once we had our orders, we were happy - and we left Cafe Laufer full.
And surprisingly - I didn't get any desserts!
I will save the desserts for my next visit to Cafe Laufer!
