Haleiwa Beach Park

We love going to Haleiwa Ali`i Beach Park - the kids love swimming and boogie boarding there, but they have yet to swim at Haleiwa Beach Park, which is just down the road.

We did, however, spend a day at the park there.

The kids played soccer, flew a kite, and played "line chase" on the basketball court.

There are a lot of pokey weeds though, so if playing on the grass at Haleiwa Beach Park, shoes are recommended (my poor son lost his slipper while running, and gained a bunch of little thorns in his foot that I had to pick out one by one).

There is also a playground onsite, as well as restrooms, and lots of parking.

Of course the ocean views are gorgeous too...

We often see lots of canoe paddlers and stand-up paddle boarders at Haleiwa Beach Park.

Whether you want to swim in the ocean or play at the park - or both - check out Haleiwa Beach Park!
