Visit Oahu: Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Stay at Turtle Bay Resort

My family had an amazing staycation at Turtle Bay Resort.  It was just for one night, and I really wish I could've stayed a week!

Here are the top 10 reasons why you should stay at Turtle Bay Resort.

1. Hanai - The concept of Hanai (support of family) was obvious through all employees we encountered - the valet attendants, the pool attendants, the front desk employees - everyone!  They really made us feel like part of their `ohana.
2. Ocean view - Every room has an ocean view.  Every room!
3. Oahu's Fabled North Shore - There's nothing like the North Shore.  The North Shore has such a chill vibe that makes it easy for you to forget all your troubles.  And you are so close to the North Shore's famous beaches, food trucks, and other attractions. (pictured: Kuilima Point)
4. Renovated rooms - The recently renovated rooms are so inviting.  The decor is fresh and complements Hawaii's own natural beauty.  It was relaxing to just lounge in the room or on the balcony.
5. Pools - Heated pools, including a kiddie pool with a water slide, are very popular spots for guests.

6. Beach - The beach is just steps away from the resort - 5 miles of coastline!
7. Dining - A variety of dining options are available. Whether you want fine dining or happy hour pupus, you'll find it on property! (pictured Kula Bombe from Surfer the Bar)
8. Amenities - From complimentary coffee, free parking, and free use of a GoPro for 24 hours, there are so many amenities to make your stay even that much more enjoyable! Click here for a more comprehensive list.
9. Activities - If a dip in the pool or a swim in the ocean is not enough for you, you can participate in all sorts of other activities (some complimentary, others for a fee), such as ukulele lessons, hiking, helicopter tours, and more!
10. Wildlife - We saw so many whales splashing in the ocean, and it was so neat to see a Hawaiian Monk Seal come ashore and take a nap!
