Lulu's is a great budget friendly breakfast option for families. Located across from Waikiki Beach, you can stop here for a quick breakfast and then head out to beach. Lulu's has a terrific retro-surf open air dining room that's complete with a tiki to greet you at the stairs leading to the restaurant.
Our family of four stopped in the morning of Good Friday and snagged the last table. We decided to share two omelettes and a stack of pancakes. Our server was so thoughtful, he split our orders so each of us had half an omelette and a side of corned beef hash instead of having us fuss over the food and divvy up the food ourselves. As the designated food divvy-upper, I was very appreciative of his initiative.
The omelettes were very tasty and the corned beef hash was excellent. The pancakes were good, but as soon as we laid eyes on an order of the stuffed french toast, we developed a case of buyer's remorse.
This was a great and affordable dining option for our family. We were in and out of there quickly so we could enjoy the rest of our morning at the beach. Don't forget to stop by the tiki for a photo opp!
