Visit Phoenix: Black Bear Diner

Black Bear Diner is a chain restaurant that originated in California, and has since expanded to several different states.  Their focus is on providing comfort food and excellent service, and that's exactly what we got when we dined there.

I had the Two Eggs Classic Combo - scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit. It was a lot of food (my husband had to help me finish), and it was very satisfying.

The Volcano consists of 3 pancakes stacked high, including 2 sausage links, 2 bacon, and 2 eggs.

My middle son opted for a special of the day - Pumpkin Pancakes. He loved them!

Kids meals come in two sizes - L'il Cubs and Big Cubs. Two of my kids got the L'il Cubs Chocolate Chip Pancakes. At just $3.99, it was very reasonably-priced.

Service was great, and Black Bear Diner was a nice spot to have a hearty breakfast!
