Eggs 'n Things Waikiki

Kid's menu doubles as coloring page.

I haven't been to Eggs 'n Things in ages and I've never visited the Saratoga location.  I'm a big fan of the breakfast place and its huge portions, but the super long lines have been a serious deterrent.

I like the affordable, extensive menu because it assures me there is something for everyone.  My non-fruit eater daughter LOVED her chocolate chip waffle, explaining between chocolaty bites that she could eat this all day and all night.  And I believe her.

See?!?! She ate the whole thing.

My son and I shared the spinach, bacon and cheese omelet and had upgraded our accompanying buttermilk pancakes to banana ones with whipped cream.  The omelet was not bad, but I was very pleasantly surprised how yummy the pancakes were.  I liked them how they were, but you have your choice of three delicious syrups on every table:  maple, guava, and coconut.  My Dad got the crab cakes eggs benedict and really enjoyed them.

It's pretty tiny in the upstairs dining area.  Our party of 9 had to sit at separate tables.  If you're traveling by car, you can park at the post office right across the street, but be prepared to pay some big bucks.  Fees start at $7 for 2 hours and go up from there.  It's a great breakfast option if you are already in the area.
