Visit Phoenix: Urban Cookies Bakeshop

Our family was invited to a friend's home for lunch, and I insisted on taking something over (I never like to go to someone's home empty-handed).  I told her I'd think of what to get, but she made things easy for me and suggested dessert.

So I researched cupcake shops near her home (even though I prefer other desserts over cupcakes, cupcakes are often popular, and kids always love them!), and found Urban Cookies Bakeshop.

Not only do they sell cupcakes, but they also sell cookies, donuts, and more!

I asked the employee what the most popular flavors of cupcakes were, and he advised Birthday Cake, Lemon Raspberry Pistachio, and Peanut Butter were some of the favorites.

The Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter, and the Hot Cocoa were the first cupcakes to be devoured, and one person at the lunch who loves pistachio said the Lemon Raspberry Pistachio was really good.

Since I'm not a big cupcake fan, I decided to try one of the cookies, and I tried the Double Chocolate with Sea Salt. It was good - a little more crispy than I prefer, but still really good.

Urban Cookies Bakeshop was the perfect spot to pick up sweets!
