Visit Oahu: Top 10 Things That Made My Day Perfect at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort

Even though I stayed at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, for just a day, it was as perfect as it could be.

Here are the top 10 things that made my day perfect:

1. Service with Aloha - I experienced service with Aloha from the moment I dropped my car off with the valet and received a lei upon check-in, until I checked out and retrieved my car from the valet.

2. History - The Royal Hawaiian, also known as the Pink Palace of the Pacific, is rich in history.  It was once a playground for King Kamehameha I, and Queen Kaahumanu's Summer Palace once stood on the grounds of the current Coconut Grove Garden.
3. Customized welcome gift - After looking at my Instagram feed and how much dessert photos I posted, the hotel welcomed me with some yummy macarons and a cupcake!
4. Azure Restaurant's Royal Papa`aina Dinner - The most amazing dinner I have ever experienced.

5. An extremely comfortable King Size Luxury Collection Bed - Just look at that bed!
6. Stunning views - Just a reminder of how lucky I am to live in Hawaii.

7. A botanical paradise - Exotic plants and beautiful flowers can be found throughout the grounds of the Royal Hawaiian.
8. Chocolates at Turn Down Service - More sweets!
9. A picture-perfect morning with pink parasols and a pink-tinged sky - What a way to be greeted in the morning!

10. Breakfast by the beach - A lovely start to the day with breakfast at Surf Lanai.
