Visit Lanai: Top 10 Favorite Eats

Even though I was on Lanai for a really quick weekend getaway, we still managed to indulge ourselves in some amazing food.

Whenever I do Top 10 Eats I try to feature 10 items from different restaurants, but because we were in Lanai for just a short time, we didn't get to try too many restaurants, but I did come up with my favorite Lanai Eats.

I know restaurants change their menus from time to time, but if any of these items are on the menu the next time I go back, I most definitely will order them again!
1. Olive Ciabatta from Terrace - I know - it's a bit surprising to have complimentary bread as my #1 choice, but the bread was SO GOOD!  I would go back to Terrace just for the Olive Ciabatta.  It was so flavorful and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.  Ciabatta heaven!

2. Roasted Half Chicken from Terrace - Flavorful and juicy, the chicken was quite a large serving.  The accompanying asparagus and herb potatoes rounded out the dish nicely.
3. Budino di Pane al Cocco (Coconut Bread Pudding) from Kailani - Perfect texture, and not overly sweet.  An amazing dessert!
4. Chicken Katsu from Cafe 565 - They are known for the Korean Katsu, but I really liked the Chicken Katsu a lot better.
5. Hamakua Mushroom Toast from Terrace - A generous amount of mushrooms, along with applewood smoked bacon and parsley, was mixed in a sherry vinaigrette and topped a baguette.  So delicious!
6. Lanai Omelette from Blue Ginger Cafe - Stuffed with Portuguese Sausage, Bacon, Onions, Mushrooms, and Cheese, the Lanai Omelette was tasty and satisfying!
7. Mocha Mud Pie from Terrace -The perfect way to end a dinner - such a delicious dessert!

8. Pollo from Kailani - Slow Cooked Chicken Cacciatore, Crispy Polenta, Kalamata Olive Brush, & Romesco Sauce was presented beautifully, and the dish in its entirety was very flavorful.

9.  The Lanai Breakfast at ONE FORTY - Farm Fresh Eggs, Breakfast Potatoes, Crisp Bacon, and a gorgeous view is the perfect way to start the day on Lanai!
10. Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate Ice cream at the Manele Bay Pool - Ice Cream is ALWAYS on the itinerary whenever we travel, so it was quite a treat to eat some ice cream while sitting next the beautiful pool!
