Pancakes & Waffles BLD

Pancakes & Waffles BLD recently opened in the Waimalu Plaza Shopping Center.  The menu offered is the same as the original Pancakes & Waffles in City Square, and the new location opens until 9pm (versus 2pm at the original location).

Honey Butter Chicken & Waffle
My husband and I shared the Honey Butter Chicken & Waffle. We went to the original location a while ago and ordered other items, but when we saw this dish come out, we knew we had to try it the next time we visited.

Upon ordering we were told the chicken would take another 16 minutes, but we didn't mind waiting for this popular menu item.

The chicken was so good - crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside.

The honey butter added a nice sweetness, and the waffle itself was pretty good too.

My kids loved the pancakes, which they shared, along with the bacon, eggs, and toast.

Having just recently opened, they are still working out a few kinks. All of the food items did take a little longer than expected, but the workers were all very friendly and kept checking on the food and apologizing for the delay.

I love a good breakfast spot, and Pancakes & Waffles BLD is definitely a spot I could see myself returning to often.
