Breakfast Hack: Overnight Oats

I've heard about this breakfast trend for a while now and since I had most of the ingredients at home, I decided to give it a go.  At the minimum, you will need old fashioned oats (not instant or quick), greek yogurt (plain or with fruit), and milk.  If you are fancy, you can add fresh fruit, chia seeds, honey, etc.  The possibilities are endless which makes this really exciting.

Basically, mix together: 6 ounces of Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup old fashioned oats, and 1/2 cup of milk (I used 1%) in a container and refrigerate overnight.  This recipe makes 2 servings.  I didn't have a mason jar on hand, but I wish I did because it will make your breakfast look adorable!

My first ever oatmeal mix wasn't very pretty the next day, but considering I slapped it together without much thought, I'm not disappointed at all.  And the taste?  It's REALLY GOOD!  I like that it's healthy, filling and super simple to prepare.
