Nordstrom Gelato Bar

I've wanted to try the Nordstrom Gelato Bar, which serves La Gelateria's gelato, ever since a friend had told me about it, however, when we arrived the one flavor I really wanted - the Salted Caramel with Dark Chocolate Chips, was almost gone and the gentleman behind the counter said there wasn't enough for a scoop.

So I ended up just getting the Gianduia (Chocolate Hazelnut) for my kids.

After I paid for the gelato, the gentleman behind the counter started talking to me about how the next time I come I'll need to try their Belgian Waffles, and how they're "true" Belgian Waffles made with Pearl Sugar.  He even encouraged me to sample the sugar.

He was so enthusiastic and persuasive, I decided to order the waffle with some Macadamia Nut Gelato.

I'm so glad I did.

It was truly delicious.

I can't wait to go back and hopefully the Salted Caramel with Dark Chocolate Chips is available.

But even if it isn't, the Macadamia Nut Gelato on a Belgian Waffle will be just fine with me!
