Bob's Big Bear Diner

Bob's Big Bear Diner, the successor to the local Bob's Big Boy, opened in the old Waipahu Sizzler location recently, and we decided to have breakfast there one morning.

Top: Kid's Banana Pancakes with Eggs and Bacon; Bottom left: Kid's Apple French Toast with Eggs and Bacon; Bottom Right: Kid's Strawberry Waffles with Eggs and Bacon

Top: Big Bear Blockbuster (2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, 2 Sausage, Pancakes); Bottom: Farmer's Omelette (stuffed with Ham, Onion, and Potatoes) and comes with Biscuits and Gravy

Although the restaurant was empty when we arrived, it took a little while for us to be greeted, but once a server seated us, the rest of our time at Bob's Big Bear was great.

The food was delicious, portions were huge, and prices were very reasonable.

I had the Farmer's Omelette, and I could barely finish it (I didn't even touch the biscuits and gravy - it was so much food!).

The kids meals my kids ordered came with other types of meat, but since they all love bacon, the server said it was no problem to order bacon instead.

With the exception of having to wait a while to be seated despite an empty restaurant, service was friendly and efficient.

We'll definitely be back again!
