Rinka Restaurant

A friend recently suggested we meet up at Rinka Restaurant, a small, but busy Japanese restaurant on Kapiolani Boulevard.

Here are the dishes we ordered:

Hourensou Ohitash (Spinach Salad)

Hamachi Sashimi

French Fries

Renkon Manjyu

Kani Tomato Salad

Chicken Karaage

Abalone Korokke

Mochi Ice Cream

Sakura Cheesecake

I tried everything EXCEPT the Korokke, Sashimi, Spinach Salad, and Mochi Ice Cream.

Everything I did try was delicious.  My favorite was the Karaage and the Renkon Manjyu.

Although Rinka can be difficult to find (the rear entrance is on Kapiolani, the "main" entrance on Makaloa Street), the place was very busy (reservations highly recommended).

The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, and I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.
