Uncle Bobo's Smoked BBQ- Stop #3 on Oahu Half-Day Trip: Windward to North Shore

After searching for a restaurant in Kaneohe and Kaaawa to eat lunch, we decided to go to Uncle Bobo's Smoked BBQ in Kaaawa.

We ordered a side of Fries to start with (seemed like they were the frozen type)

I ordered the Chicken Katsu with Mac Salad.  It was decent.  I've had much better elsewhere.
DH ordered the Garlic Chicken with Cole Slaw.  He thought it was just "okay," but I thought the sauce was really good.  However, he did think the Cole Slaw was really good.
We ordered a Chili Bowl for the boys to share.  We asked the employee if it was spicy, and she said it wasn't, but it turned out to be a little too spicy for the boys.
Uncle Bobo's is a very tiny restaurant - only 3 tables in the shop (2 tables sat 4, 1 table sat 2), with bar-type seating along the wall (about 3 seats), as well as a few tables outside.

They have a ceiling fan in the restaurant, but it was still VERY HOT (although there was a bit of a breeze outside, lots of cars kept coming and going because the post office is right next door, and we wanted to try and avoid all the fumes).

In the restaurant they do have a sign noting how they are not a "fast food" venue so the wait for your order may be a while, and we did have to wait a bit even though we were the first ones in the restaurant (others left after finding out the wait for an order would take 30+ minutes).

Uncle Bobo's is known for their Smoked BBQ - DH and I don't eat much BBQ, but if you love BBQ, you may want to check it out, especially after a morning at the beach.
