California Pizza Kitchen - Aiea

We recently dined at California Pizza Kitchen in Aiea.

We never ordered an appetizer from CPK before, but I wanted to try one, so we ordered the Avocado Club Egg Rolls.
It was really, really good.  I think just about anything with avocado and bacon is good!

DS2 had the Kids Pepperoni Pizza.
He hardly ate any of it only because he ate so much bread (not pictured) since he was super hungry by the time we got to CPK, but he did eat the leftovers for dinner.

I ordered my "usual" - BBQ Chicken with Applewood Smoked Bacon Pizza, and it was good, as usual.
DH tried the new Habaneros Carnitas Pizza.

The spicy habanero salsa came on the side, and he said it was pretty spicy, and overall he really liked the pizza.

As usual, we had excellent service, although it did take a lot longer than usual for us to get our food.

It was pretty busy, and I really didn't mind the wait, but the manager ended up offering us free dessert because of the wait.

Who am I to pass up free dessert???

I ended up getting the Red Velvet Cake.
YUM!

It was moist and delicious!

Despite the wait, it was another great dining experience at CPK!

  1. I, too, enjoy the food at CPK. Thanks for the reminder. We might dine there again in the near future!

  2. Oh you are woman after my own heart. We don't have a CA pizza kitchen but I adore the egg rolls from Chilis. Putting yummy things inside of an egg roll wrapper is always a hit with me. Red velvet cake is my favorite! Hubs and I love it so much that is what our wedding cake was ;D
