Visit Tokyo: Hashigo

Our first dinner in Tokyo on our most recent trip turned out to be one of the best random finds.  We stopped in at Hashigo, which specializes in Chinese noodles.  It has just one wrap-around counter.  It was really busy, so our family had to split up.

Pork Noodles
I had the Pork Noodles which was in a shoyu-based broth.  The pork was so tender, and I loved the thin noodles which was akin to saimin noodles.
Chicken Noodles
You are asked if you want to order rice, which I thought was odd for a noodle shop, but I watched other patrons generously top the rice with the house pickles.  It was so good!

Hashigo was one of my favorite spots on this trip to Japan!
