One of my kids wanted to go to Small Worlds, and at first I was hesitant. I didn't think a miniature museum would be that interesting.
I was so wrong.
Small Worlds turned out to be such a neat find. Not only do you step into worlds that have been miniaturized, but you are immersed in fantastical scenes that are just so impressive!
There are also areas where you can look for clues to spell out a word, and you can get a prize. This is very clever, as it makes guests pay closer attention to and scrutinize each display.
The attention to detail was just incredible. From the buildings to the people to the vehicles to the animals - the crafters really poured their hearts and souls into these displays! You could spend hours there just looking at all the intricate details.
My favorite part of the museum was the miniature runway, which even had an adjacent non-miniature lounge where you could sit back and relax in comfort while watching planes land and take-off.
It was so neat!
The miniature worlds were just so cool, and so many of the displays had moving parts that made them that much more engaging. There were moving cars, buildings, people, trains, anime characters - and even a rocket ship!
It was such mastery and creativity! You could even watch some of the crafters work! There are also workshops where you can make your own mini projects (for a fee).
There is a pretty cafe where we got some snacks.
Small Worlds was a delight!
