Seven Brothers Mom’s Bakery & Market

Disclaimer: the Aloha Nui box was provided complimentary by our sponsor. All opinions are my own.

During a recent day off from work and school, we had the sweetest opportunity to visit Seven Brothers Mom’s Bakery in the cozy town of Lāʻie at the Kahuku Sugar Mill.

Tucked along the North Shore, this family-run bakery is known for its island hospitality and freshly baked treats. We were invited to check out their signature ALOHA NUI box, and we couldn’t wait to see (and taste!) what it was all about.

We made the scenic hour-long drive from Kāneʻohe, and let me tell you, the journey itself felt like part of the experience — lush mountains, glimpses of the coastline, and plenty of instagrammable island views along the way (unfortunately I couldn't capture any of it because I was driving!).

When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a kind lady who had our Aloha Nui box ready for us. Inside was a fresh loaf of their famous banana bread (yes, it smelled as good as it sounds!). On top of that, we were invited to pick two more bakery items to try. Easier said than done — everything looked incredible!

After some deliberation (and a little help from my son, who had his eye on the butter croissant), we settled on that, plus a chocolate chip cookie with sea salt, which came highly recommended.

But I couldn’t stop there — I had to also try their peanut butter chunk cookie and the ever-alluring brookie (a brownie-cookie hybrid!).

Let’s just say... we were not disappointed.

Each bite was better than the last, but if I had to choose favorites, the PB chunk cookie and brookie won me over completely. That said, every item was a winner — from the perfectly golden croissant to the chewy, sweet-and-salty chocolate chip cookie.

If you’re a fan of chewy cookies, this place is absolutely for you. The textures, flavors, and homemade feel of everything we tried made it a bakery visit to remember.

But wait, they also serve sup milkshakes and gelato — the perfect way to top off a treat-filled visit.

Whether you’re a local looking for a sweet escape or a visitor wanting to taste some real aloha, Seven Brothers Mom’s Bakery is well worth the drive.

Open Mondays - Saturdays, 7 AM - 9 PM

Thanks to our sponsor for inviting us to check out your family-run bakery in Kahuku!
