Dinner at Istanbul Hawaii

Baba's Kofte

I am always happy to dine at Istanbul Hawaii because I have a favorite cocktail and dinner dish that I love and order each time. Unfortunately, this past time I learned my favorite dish (Musakka) was discontinued so I was at a loss since I am not very knowledgeable in Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. Thankfully my friends made their favorite recommendations and as a result, I tried three new dishes and I loved them all! We had the Cauliflower Sharwarma with rice instead of pita, the Lamb Tenderloin Shish, and my new favorite - Baba's Kofte - aged usda prime brandt farm ribeye minced, hawaij spice, mediterranean salata, saffron pilav, crème fraîche. Istanbul Hawaii continues to be a great restaurant for an outstanding meal.

Flowers of Ephesus  - pau vodka, rich pomegranate. prosecco. delicate flower essence

Meze platter unvailed - hummus, muhammara, babaganush, su börek, spanakopita, sultanesque palate cleanser, pita. Gluten-free option with cucumber & carrot.

Lamb Tenderloin Shish - grass-fed. mediterranean salata. saffron pilav. crème fraîche tzatziki / (GF)
