Visit Hawai`i Island: Punalights

Punalights is a synchronized light show that will delight visitors of all ages!  It is set to launch tomorrow, the 15th, at 7pm.

It gets quite busy, so there is someone who directs visitors to parking.

It was pouring rain the night we went last year, so we just watched from the car, and it was still so much fun to watch all the lights and visuals.  The music that is synchronized with the lights are not necessarily holiday-related.  There were all sorts of popular songs being played, from pop to rock & roll.

For a video clip, check out my Instagram reel from last year here.

The number of visitors to Punalights is many, and the owners, who generously donate their time and resources to bring joy to the neighborhood, collect food and monetary donations for charity.

Bring some food to donate and some food for yourself to enjoy (with some hot cocoa!) from the comfort of your own car, and watch the dazzling displays!

What a special thing to do for the community!
